Chandramukhi Marathi Film first song "Chandra" is released by makers.

Chandramukhi one of the most awaited marathi movie of this year is creating lot of buzz among audience as it nearing to release, be its grand reveal of lead actress face or its curosity of song which are composed by Ajay-Atul.

Now makers of "Chandramukhi" had just released first song of the film titled "Chandra", featuring Amruta Khanvilkar and Addinath Kothare, the Lavni song is extremly fluid and hard to miss every expression of Amruta Khanvilkar. It is simply amazing.

The song is composed by legendry music composer Ajay- Atul, song is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and lyrics of the song is written by Guru Thakur.

Amruta Khanvilkar To Play Lead Role In Marathi Film "Chandramukhi"

Amruta Khanvilkar to play lead role in upcoming Marathi Film "Chandramukhi" चंद्रमुखी

The most awaited marathi film of 2022 "Chandramukhi", directed by actor director Prasad Oak has been created lot of buzz around movie goers since it has announced, as movie is based on Vishwas Patil novel with same name, which was already hit among readers, has made everyone very curious who will be playing lead charachter in the film.

A few days ago, the makers had unveiled the first look of 'Addinath Kothare', who is playing the role of politician 'Daulat Deshmane' in the film. And now, the makers have finally revealed the actress name in a grand star-studded event organised last evening on March 22 at heritage theatre "Royal Opera House", Mumbai, the makers announced by unveiling a 35 foot cutout of Amruta Khanvilkar as Chandramukhi.



This film has been produced by Akshay Bardapurkar and Piyush Singh of Planet Marathi and Golden Ratio Films. Speaking about the grand launch at the Opera House, producer Akshay Bardapurkar said, "The subject deserves a grand platform and so does the Marathi film industry. The subject of our film is about tamasha culture prevalent in Maharashtra. We are keen to give this subject and the film that stature."

The event significantly welcomed and honoured original Tamasha artists of Maharashtra and historically for the first time Tamasha artists performed at the Regality of Royal Opera House.

At the event, Amruta Khanvilkar who performed on a song from the film titled 'Chandra' sung by Shreya Ghoshal. The actress shared a statement with the media, in which she said, "I am blessed to receive the opportunity of playing this role which has intense shades of love, romance, dedication and struggle. I have poured my heart and soul as Chandramukhi and lived the character to portray it on screen. The film comes with much responsibility for the entire team and we have gone the extra mile to do justice. We hope the efforts are appreciated."

Addinath Kothare, who was recently seen in the Hindi film 83 as Dilip Vengsarkar, plays the male lead in the film as Daulat Deshmane. In an event Addinath shared on being cast opposite Amruta Khanvilkar, "Amruta is a splendid and magical dancer who effortlessly manages to mesmerise the viewers, and it has been an interesting journey to work together as we have been paired for the first time. I am sure the audience will definitely love our chemistry in the film."

Apart from Amruta Khanvilkar and Addinath Kothare, the movie also stars Mrunmayee Deshpande and Mohan Agashe, the screenplay and dilouges of the film has been written by Chinmay Mandlekar and music of the movie is composed by Ajay-Atul, The lyrics of the songs has been penned by Guru Thakur, and its cinematography has been done by Sanjay Memane.

Chandramukhi is all set to release on April 29, 2022.

Adinath Kothare to play politician 'Daulat Deshmane' in Prasad Oak's Chandramukhi, The movie is based on Vishwas Patil's Novel with same Chandramukhi which is already hit among the audience.

Month back intriguing teaser of upcoming Marathi film "Chandramukhi" was released, where in teaser enthralling rhythm of dhol, a beautifully decorated stage and the feet of a woman who is preparing to dance her heart out was shown, which has created lot of curiosity among movie goers that who is playing lead role in the film, to which makers has recently unveiled the face of male lead in a special video clip, a shrewd politician 'Daulat Deshmane' played by Adinath Kothare.



Actor-Director-Producer Adinath Kothare who was last seen in bollywood movie '83' essaying a role of 'Dilip Vengsarkar', Will be eassying lead role in Marathi Film industry most awaited film of this year "Chandramukhi".

In an interview to a leading newspaper about his role Adinath said, "After producing, directing and working in Hindi films, I have got an opportunity to work in Marathi again after a long gap and that too in such a strong role. I have played the role of a politician before, but this role is very different from my previous ones. He is a politician who has a purpose in life. He is fighting for social welfare and for the rights of the people. Only after the release of this film will it be known whether his efforts will be successful. I had to study the personality traits and the body language of this character."

Chandramukhi is Prasad Oak's third directorial venture. Speaking about working with Kothare, Oak said, "I have seen Adinath's work before. Therefore, I knew that he was the perfect choice for this role and he has done it 100% justice. In the teaser itself, you can guess the personality of Daulat."

The female lead of the film is not yet revelead it will be very interesting to see who will be playing it, the movie screenplay and dialogues have been written by actor and writer Chinmay Mandlekar, music for the film is composed by Ajay-Atul, cinematography has been done by Sanjay Memane and produced by Akshay Bardapurkar, Abhayanand Singh, Piiyush Singh and Saurabh Gupta under banner Planet Marathi and Golden Ratio Films.

Chandramukhi is all set to be released on 29 April.

Director- producer Milind Kavde's mystery-comedy 'Ek Number Super' starring Prathamesh Parab and Ayali Ghiya has already created a lot of buzz among masses for its double meaning dialogue and comedy scenes, has been postponed ahead of its release.

The film was all set to release in the theatres on 11th March 2022. however, now the release date of the movie has been postponed. Today, the makers shared this news with there fans, from there official social media handle, that Ek Number Super got postponed due to some technical issues. They captioned the post as, "भेटू 'एक नंबर'सुपर रिलीज डेट सोबत लवकरच... #EkNumberSuper."
